To claim and affirm common roots with Christians, Muslims, and Jews as part of the Abrahamic, monotheistic faiths"

Well first I need more help in understanding some basic ideals and I would start with definitions:
What is religion?
What is faith?
What is a denomination?
What or who is god?
Then give me a heirarchy of the above.
The next question for me is; is My God their god. If not why not? but if so how do I know this?

let me attempt to respond to your inquisitions;

Religion--means to the divine
Faith--a self-believe that a divine being exists
Denomination-- man's own creation.
What or who is god?--i would rather ask why is god? if things are functioning without our control of it or if consequences of those functionings impact us without us having any say in it, then I believe something extensive and beyond exist and that is God.

heirarchy might be difficult for me to formulate as i see all of them intertwined. Its like a pearl necklace in which each little pearl's individual radiance is reflective off other pearls in the pack so as to create a collective sparkle of which none of the individual pearl is the owner.

Its about OUR GOD and not my god or your or his or her god. The goal is the same just the path are different and variable.

I hope this helps in some way. Awaiting a response.
